Project Update: Fit Get!?

Third week into my Wii Fit experiment and I feel really good. My body feels stronger and more flexible, but my weight has not changed very much.

I have cut down my carbohydrate in-take by probably a little more than 50% and increased the protein in my diet drastically. Protein doesn't stave off hunger as well so I regularly gorge myself with tofu or meat for dinner and pass on the rice.

I have upped my jackknives to 3 sets of 30 reps.
I am doing 20 reps per set for push-ups, but I find I am not able to do more than 2 sets in a short period yet. And I have also increased my leg lunges from 10 reps to 15 reps per set.

I didn't really "get" the hoola-hooping game in Wii Fit when I first tried it way back, but I got curious and wanted to mix up my cardio activities. Hoola-hooping is actually a really tiresome exercise(game) because it requires a lot of speedy hip thrusting. Once I got the hang of it, I definitely felt my heart-rate go up pretty fast. And the fact that the motion is very reminiscent of human reproduction just made it more fun.

There is definitely increased muscle definition, but I'm not sure if I'm growing muscle or losing fat, my weight has only fluctuated lightly. I have a lengthy spring vacation coming so I will get on the balance board a bit more and hopefully see more changes.
