Hopefulness: I Can't Wait to Get Alone

So 2007 has come and gone.

2008 is upon us and it looks like things are going to start off pretty good for gamers.
Smash Brothers Brawl is on its way. The hype-train for this game is ginormous. Online outlets are posting the Japanese commercials left and right and many sites keep a close eye on the official BRAWL site which reveals details about the game daily. It will see release first in Japan on 1/24, and then in the States on 2/14.

Honestly, I never really played the old Smash Bros. that much, I was really weened back in the day on Street Fighter, still IMO the pinnacle of fighting game franchises. But I have played enough to know that it's a well made series, and apparently, it also has a sizable competitive following. This Wii iteration promises a huge list of features, online play, and even the ability to watch replays.

Another title I'm looking forward to is EA's Medal of Honor 2: Heroes for the Wii. 32 player online mode, no friendcodes, gota try me some of that.

Today's pic comes from Zack and Wiki: The Quest of Barbaros' Treasure. Maybe you have already read some articles online about how sad it is that this great game is not selling very well, and how this is a must-play on the Wii because it can only be done on the Wii. Wel, it's all true. Though one of the last levels took me over three hours to figure out, begrudgingly even, I really felt a sadness when I finished this game, it's THAT GOOD.

I hope you guys all start off 2008 right.
Let us forget about resolutions this year, and instead strive to be resolute in everything we do. All hail the Jeebus!
